Hunter, how does the weave pattern on the engine cover match that of your GruppeM Intake? From my understanding the GruppeM is a 1x1 weave pattern like the roof of the M6 while the AFE engine cover is a 2x2 weave like the M6's interior trim.

This is correct. It doesn't have the same weave pattern and it was a concern of mine initially before receiving the engine cover but as you can see from the engine bay pic it still looks outstanding regardless. I can't complain. The AFE engine cover matches the interior carbon trim pieces in the cabin.

I agree the thing still looks stunning even if the weave isn't a perfect match.

Here is a mod I didn’t think I was going to do until I saw the alcantara in person. It's much better than previous M performance wheels I have had. Initially all I wanted was the carbon fiber trim but I was sold on the whole thing. I didn't want the other m performance wheel with the led display because I have the P3Cars gauge and I prefer that for all the added info. Here is a pic.

Is it worth getting? Does it have a heating option?

I like it. It matches the interior alcantara on the b pillars and roof. I was skeptical at first and I only was going to put the carbon trim from this wheel on the standard leather wheel but after seeing it in person I think it's fantastic. I will have some installed pics tomorrow or Friday. I forgot to mention you do lose the heated function but this wheel doesn't get as cold or as hot as the leather does and it feels great.

Hunter, Did you try any aftermarket 20's?

What is the ride difference between the 20 and 21's, in your opinion?

Looks like you kept the PSS, but they look wider, especially in the front. I only find a 265 30 21 PSS tire. Did you use spacers?

In running 265's up front which is the stock width for the M6. In the back I'm rolling on 305's. I use no spacers on my summer wheels... they are made to spec. I don't really notice a ride difference between 20's and 21's. Very similar maybe a smidgen firmer.
