straight piped 650i

So had the resonator taken off my car this morning, sadly, it makes absoloutely not difference -- looks like the resonator on there does nothing as it is. While they were removing the resonator, I had them start it up to hear what it sounded like without mufflers and resonator....WOW. sounds MEAN. Sadly the clip looks like it got cut off, but you get the idea

Was going to remove resonator and do X-Pipe, but straight pipe sounds so much better, thanks!

I understand, no muffler, nothing. I was thinking about getting X-Pipe with stock muffler at one point. So, this video shows that it is best without anything!

I wonder if @2009328i tried new setup with the flaps in the muffler opened.

O man, that's depressing. May be having muffler shop custom straight pipes w/o muffler would be best bet for good sound for this car. I checked many clips and they are all not that exciting comparing to your clip w/o muffler and resonator.

I'm leaning toward Meistershaft b/c of EV control and oval tips, but I like ACS sound better.

Why I feel the ACS sounds exactly same as the stock m performance?

For what it's worth. I went back and had my mufflers cut off. Been driving like this for 2 weeks. I like the sound. A lot louder for sure, there's a little drone at 80 mph but nothing the radio can't cover.

I was looking on ACS site it says you have to buy the carbon rear diffuser to for the ACS exhaust . Even though in that video above he has the stock bumper im 100% sure the ACS tips fit perfect with the stock m sport bumper

" Description
Dual sports rear silencer in stainless steel with chrome "sports trim" tailpipes. Non-homologation versions supplied for a deeper, sportier sound with improved breathing and weight reduction.

SE/Sport models only in combination with AC Schnitzer rear skirt. M Sport models only in combination with AC Schnitzer carbon fibre rear diffuser. Does not fit standard skirt on either model. Please choose the correct engine option from above when ordering. "

maybe its just a way for them to sell the rear skirt too lol?

Right, I think it is somewhat similar but quite a bit louder.
