I don't get it, why so many complaints?
Always when there is something new, the ranting begins... About the 20 + HP, the GC 6 is a bigger and heavier car, the 20 HP means jack imo, For performance M5 is still it, in it's class. It's like comparing the X5M to the E60 M5, newer models will always be more powerful, and have better and newer tech, that's how it works, get over it! Besides what so wrong with having more choices people? And again, why compare an excisting model - the CLS, to a model that's driving around with heavy camo, who still isn't even announcend yet... What i find funny is, after what, 5-6 years, VW have finally putten a more powerfull twin turbo diesel into theyr A6's. What is BMW respons? A tri turbo engine making the new Audi engine beeing left behind in the dust.

What many seem to forget is that M6 Gran Coupe will not arrive on the market until mid-late 2013. The M5 has got plenty of breathing space before the flagship arrives.
The M5 will then be over two years old. And ready for a CRT type model in the same period.

Just because there is a difference in horsepower doesn't mean they are two completely separate engines. They mean that it will be an M5/M6 motor that is tuned for an additional 20+ horsepower.

I have to disagree with you on the CLS. It think they did a great job. Its almost like a reverse mullet... party in the front and business in the back

Really liked the older CLS, the new one is just not as sexy as the first one. The rear end is so uncool. |

The GC will look great with M Sport Pack and will be awesome in M6 form
CLS AMG will be quite old in that period so I don t think that will have a chance against GC |

LAME...differentiated by an ECU-tuned 20 hp?
The M5 Sedan/Touring and M6 coupe/'vert' should get the same 350 hp triturbo Diesel sounds awesome though...now put it in a 350d and sell it with a DCT-7 please.

Nice, but if it is like anything else BMW has put out in the 6er range recently, it will be vastly overpriced.
But since research shows that most people that buy 6ers are buying it as a third or fourth car, then I guess its right. |
