Hey, do you mind saying how much you ended up selling this for? I'm negotiating for something similar with a private seller right now, and trying to get a sense what a fully loaded '09 135i vert should go for in a private sale.

Would also like to know...thinking of selling my fully loaded 09 135 Dinan Stg 2 convertible as well with 13,300 miles

Sure...sold it for 31k. I am pretty sure I could have gotten more...this is the story.

Put it up on autotrader.com for $70. Asking 32k. First day had 4 calls...two who wanted to see the car...however timing didn't work so one bought a car someplace else and the other asked about a month later to see it.

Then...there was like a 3 week silence period...then I had a 30 minute call from one fellow...then the next day I had a 29k offer from another fellow. We negotiated...sight unseen...to 31k that evening. The next day I had 2 more calls...the day after that 2 more....then in the next week 2 more who wanted to buy it.

I'm not sure what the dynamics were that caused the "wave" effect...I think my car was well priced...but I suspect the impact the Tsunami had on used cars may have caused the second wave of folks...and if I had been willing to wait (longer) I'm sure I could have gotten more.
