+1 The rendering looks great, but I hope the taillights extend onto the truck.

why would they wana do that? it ruins the look of what the 6 is supposed to look like. but knowing BMW they like to ruin designs here and there so i wouldnt be surprised.

The bootlid is more integrated , this is actually just a fake panel as part of the disguise. The rear lights are more wider like the Concept CS and the 6er Coupe inherits a broken chracter line which swells out the wheelarches giving a really squat on it's haunches look which brings better proportions to the rear of the car.

...Scott26.. is it still as you mentioned similar in the tail to the AUTO BILD rendering in red we discussed earlier?

... I think the tail will look more like this following the CS... this rendering incorporates the broken character line in hte rear quarter panel and intergrates hte trunk lip into it as well.. add an additional straight character line post haunch fadeing ito the front wheel well and voila ...perjaps?

In the way it is integrated to the bodywork instead of sitting on top , yes.
But the detail is nothing like that , thankfully.

ha ha! ok... more a CS meets 3er meets 6er tail.. bevel for leading boot lip fades into rear quarter panel...

..still trying to wrap my head around the broken character line... almost sounds like the Merc haunches on their recent coupe'.. ~Frost

that auto bild rendering has no boot lid at all it appears lol.. so I can get that image out of my head then... starting to see a 3er meets CS details..lights in particular ~Fost

I cant help but see the new 6er being a smoothed truncated version of the CS concept.... I personally would like it to be so...
