6er GT F14!!!!
New insider reports point to the fact that BMW is working turning the concept CS car into a production car under the GT name. The so called GT 6 will very closely resemble the CS except in a shorter and smaller package. This car is going to be a direct competitor to the MB CLS!

Get used to it. The entire BMW line (starting with the F01 7er) will get the big ass grill.

I think he's talking about this article, or some variant of it -
http://www.worldcarfans.com/9090310....w-mini-variant They're developing a 6-series GT. Having said that, it's not going to be the CS. It'll take styling cues from it, like the PAS did, but the CS is not the 6 GT

As BMW 5er GT and BMW 3er GT will also BMW 6er GT a Viertürer, it is thereby however the Coupé character of the 6ers as far as possible kept. In other words: BMW builds a competitor for Mercedes CLS and AUDI A7! Contrary to these two is to get along BMW 6er GT however without B-column. For this purpose the rear doors are also in the back fastened, similar as with the Mazda RX-8. Otherwise is to orient itself BMW 6er GT Design-moderately at the Concept CS! Like the coming 6er also the 6er GT is based on the platform BMW of the 5er F10. Since this similarity with the 7er F01, relatively large in the Interieur, has, we can assume that also with the 6er GT. Rumors mean that the Armarturenbrett is to be again more strongly driver-oriented in the models below the 7ers. For BMW the 6er would be valid due to its generally sportier adjustment naturally in particular. In addition comes all the technology Spielereien, which we already from the 7er: Black panel technology, Head UP display, active speed control, trace leaving warning and and… Thus BMW will have in the future a large number of four-door upper class vehicles in the portfolio, which are suitable for long journeys. Beside the classical authors BMW 5er and BMW 7er rank among it naturally also BMW 5er GT and coming BMW 6er GT. Also BMW X5 and BMW X6 fall into this booty pattern, even if they are naturally no sedans. It remains being waiting whether BMW do not take itself customers away here. On the other hand I think personally that it is always ever better, if the customer must decide between numerous BMW and few competitors. The chance that it seizes to one of offered BMW, is so probably larger. Because if for example the tail BMW of the 5er GT disturbs someone, he finds many alternatives within the BMW product range relatively. If it is issued someone with the tail Mercedes of the CLS exactly the same, `nur' e and S-class, which both have completely different character, remain for it. Whether this strategy actually comes up will show, us only the sales figures of the relatively far future… |

The pic in the OP is the original CS concept. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't show any variant of 6er GT. But I hope, that they built a 6er GT as close as possible to the CS designwise.
