engine locked up

ok. well there it is... 2012 just hit 100,000 miles and the motor locked up at a red light. My indy says it needs a new engine... wow.... first time in 32 years of driving BMW.. and my 2022 850 with 29,000 is a pain in the ass... 3 year lease of nothing but bent rims and busted tires... the only reliable car is the 2013 x5 v6 with 180,000.

I feel your pain about the bent rims, etc. Just had to buy a whole new set of wheels. On the upside, the car drives like new now.

Let us know why the motor was destroyed. i6 or V8?
