1) most of us have no idea about the candidates listed besides, Hilary, Barbara, Nancy and Laura...
2) Then, it is a simple partisan voting -- nothing else. I mean, Nancy and Hilary tied... One has absolutely nothing to do with the (real) politics, the other has been involved (the right or the wrong way) into the politics for a whle...

The wife of the president has the ear of the president. They are quite influential. Sometimes it is to the detriment of the presidency. Sometimes it is referred to as a "co-presidency". Thank God that never went exceedingly far.

I liked Jackie Kennedy. Maybe that is my male side saying she is the only one that looked really good. And she didn't use her influence over the president to my knowledge. She was a victim of her president. I am sympathetic to her situation.

Mrs. Abraham Lincoln (not in this poll) in history is regarded as the best kind of first lady. She is probably a good one to model today's first lady.
