Thumbs up Acceleration to 60

Just for grins I "tried" to videotape acceleration to 60, sorry about the jumpy camera. This was in efficient/comfort mode with 3/4 throttle from a complete standstill.
You can see the traction control lighting up all the way to 60!!
Windows were up and AC was on.

Fun stuff!!

I read recently BMW said 600hp is the limit they will manufacturer anytime soon. more than that is not safe by their standards of traction/control. on the other hand, more power and sick! love it! hope to get the same mods since i got my '16 before competition pack was even mentioned... so i'm at 560hp stock.

I just had an issue where the Stage 2 Dinan tune was incorrectly shutdown (unplugged and plugged in again for coding purposes). Basically the car went back to close to stock HP/Torque (Dinan CA intake and M perf. Exhaust add some HP/ Torque to stock numbers)
OMG!!! it feels like there is no power above 60... Went WOT in all the harshest settings and torque was nearly nonexistent!! Even tried downshifting, but it was NOWHERE close to the stage 2 tune.
Funny thing is that I had the Stage 2 tune on right before break in so I didn't know what WOT felt like on a close to stock M6.
Now I feel bad for those who haven't tuned their M6.

By the way, if anyone knows the proper shutdown (before unplugging it) and restart process for the Dinan Stage 2 please let me know...

Yes, when attempting to code, the tune can interfere with entering the ECU when coding.
At least that is what the rep at PSI told me...

I'm 650 wheel, or 744 crank HP

you can't use it at 0-60mph, unless ur running a Honda Civic.

This car works better at 70-170. Just sayin.

Correct.
This much power and torque for a ~4300 lb front bias weight, RWD car is too much. more power and torque will not improve the 0-60 (even may make it worse), but definitely will improve the rolling performance...

I agree... Dinan told me they have never seen this.
I will be able to diagnose on Friday. Will post in a new thread my findings so everyone is informed.
