BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe M Sport by Hamann

BIMMERPOST NEWS
BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe M Sport by Hamann

COMMENTS

We've previously seen Hamann's aero kit offerings for the 6 Series coupe M Sport and the Germany tuning company has now extended the lineup for the 6 Series Gran Coupe M Sport.

Fitting the M Sport package variant of the 6 Series Gran Coupe, the kit includes a new front spoiler lip, sideskirts and rear diffuser, in addition to the standard 6 Series Hamann parts - carbon fiber hood, trunk spoiler, wheels, and interior dress up bits.

I'm sorry I think I just threw up a little.

I do sort of like the seats though.

That's what that nasty acid taste is in the back of my throat? I threw up a little too.

The lip and valence are okay.
Lose me with everything else, including the color.

The hood needs to go but it's actually not that bad. Better then the crap from AC Shitzer. I think the rear needs to be a little bit lower in the ninth picture.

To the executives at Hamann (I know you guys read through these comments):

Why do you continually approve crap like this for production? Have you looked at Vorsteiner and how successful they have become simply by creating aesthetically pleasing products? It was only a few years ago that no one on these forums knew they existed. I realize that a lot of your customers are located in the middle east and Asia where more extreme designs are more acceptable among buyers. However, no one in North America would seriously consider buying these kits unless they had poor taste.

You guys should take some time and discuss the possiblity of creating a new design language with your designers.

PS --Placing vents on rocker panels looks ridiculous, get rid of it.

I like the interior and the fin on the trunk.

I was OK with the hood too until I saw that cross-hatching on it. That's just not attractive when the rest of the car doesn't match.

Wow. Waaaaay overdone. They've taken a sedan that looks very good already, and made it look like a child's crayon drawing. Just look at the seats ffs.

It's not horrible but it does seem Hamann is no longer able to make sexy packages for Bimmers.
The Edition Race wheels are nice but getting old.
The front lip is alright but just doesn't seem a good quality match for a 100K car. Looks kinda cheap.
The hood looks out of place. Like an after thought.

What's the use of describing the rest. You all get my point.

It certainly is not everyone's cup of tea but there is also no correlation between poor taste and nationality. Globally, people do all kinds of things to express their individuality. To each their own I suppose as long as they are happy.
