F12/13 BMW UV Sunshade

I purchased the BMW UV sunshade part #82110309454 direct from the dealership and it does not fit the M6 coupe. Does anyone else have this sunshade and had any problems getting it to fit? My parts department thought that it was a part # error on the sunshade and ordered another to compare. Well, they are exactly the same. Any thoughts?

I have a 2012 650xi and experienced the exact same problem. Went to the accessories site, confirmed model, year, etc. and bought it directly from my dealer using the model # from the site. I tried manipulating it every possible way, but it was hopeless. I returned it the next day. You'd think that they would've fixed this problem by now - my tale took place in February of 2012.

Dang. Thanks for the info. Guess I will look elsewhere for a quality shade. Any good options?

Nope. Disheartened by this failure, I gave up. lol.

I've had my car for 11 months now, and I haven't had any problems with the car taking too long to cool off (even with my Carbon Black/Black Nappa combo) or the leather drying out. The A/C is really good, I keep my Nappa (especially the dash) well-conditioned, and I make sure I always close the sunroof during the day.

Sorry I can't offer any good suggestions.
