Question Observations on 650i, 650i Xdrive

I test drove both and the 2012 Model whach has:
229 Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) 2,000.00
and 2VA Adaptive Drive

Then there's Integral Active Steering which Can not be had on the 650i Xdrive, and is the option that turns the rear wheels in one direction at low speeds and the other at high speeds to help make this buig car feel smaller and more nimble. I'm curious how the vehicle tracks with this option? I mean does it track totally straight with the rear tires not being in a locked and solid position?

The model with the ARS and AD that i test drove was a 650i Xdrive and it drove really well. I was surprised how well and put that vehicle in my top 5.

I was surprised as well that there wasn't much bobbing of the front end on turns, and that on turns it seemed as if the car was rotating around my body instead of, "pushing "into the turn. It felt quik and agile.

So, Can anyone tell me about htier experience with any or all the systems from above?

Here is the list of options i test drove:

I just bumped several of my earlier threads discussing xDrive, ARS, etc. They have some pretty good discussions of the performance options. Hope they help. Let me know if you have any questions.

I got adaptive drive on my 650ix gran coupe which I picked up a week ago. It is worth every penny. Went to downtown Chicago last weekend with another couple with the girls sitting in the back. Despite some agressive driving the girls not only didn't complain, but commented on how smooth the ride overall was! I have a similar option on my Porsche Cayenne (dynamic chassis contorl) and I have loved it, but this is even more advanced.
The one thing I miss on my car is that it is not as quick on turns. I think the integral active steering would make a big difference although I have not tried it out. I bought the 4 wheel drive because I live in Chicago, but if I was in a slightly warmer climate I would go with the rear wheel drive with the active steering. That would fix about the only thing I am not thrilled with the drive on the car.
