Does the M6 have that active speaker thing like the M5 that duplicates engine note sounds through the speakers?
If so, maybe that's what's causing the crackling thing.

Either way, I congratulate the OP for the beauty. I don't care what people call it - grand tourer, sport tourer...whatever, it's sweet.
Actually, I congratulate all who have one. It's a heck of a car.

my dealer said the M6 does not have active speakers but the M5 does...don't know why one does and one does not but that's the info i got from my dealter and this site as well.

I am just grateful the M6 doesn't have the pseudosound. Talk about faux, superficial and contrived performance similation. Its PC for the noise abatement folks. It is now in porsches as well. Keep the sound coming from the exhaust where it belongs.

impressive interior. even without the contrast stitching it is very nice. too bad about the b&o though.

Seems the reason its on the M5 is because that car shares many parts with the 7 series, which equals massive sound deadening.

The seats have contrast stitching at least on mine with the sakhir merino. Black stitching on the outer portions
