Incredible how there still in business. They rape you and the stated increase in HP is not true. I currently have a 750LI and had the software done and it gave me 17WHP. WOW. 2K for 17WHP. Go ahead and get downpipes for 1K and you will got 35WHP.

35WHP? That's some serious gains from the downpipes. But that's my experience ![]()

It is browse the F10 5 Series boards and see what the overall consensus is on DINAN Stage 2. Obviously some folks have had more desirable experiences than others. I can pretty much guarantee Stage 2 on a 650i is going to be one hell of a ride. The only caveat is DINAN is expensive - but no one raised and eyebrow when I brought my car in for service ANNND they (the Dealer Service Department) knew it was installed. To be honest the car ran better after the tune.
Again that's just my personal experience ![]()

The best I have seen stock are 4.5 - 4.6 0-60; 12.9-13.1 @ 109-110 in the 1/4 DINAN tuned perhaps 4.0- 4.2 0-60 (likely less); 12.6-12.9 @ 110 - 114 in the 1/4? Purely conjecture but based on the gains for the F10 550 folks are seeing I am thinking my estimates may actually be conservative ![]()

My Dinan Stage 2 track results have multiple 12.5s@112mph runs with a race weight of 4760lbs. I also easily beat the lighter 500hp SMG equipped E60 M5 at the track. I've clocked sub 4 sec 0-60mph runs. So, I'm pretty sure Dinan provides way more than 17hp. Anyway, if one doesn't like a Dinan product, I believe they have a 30 day return policy. Although, I'm not sure who pays the dealer labor on a refund.

With your exhaust system, I would go with Stage 3.

I was supposed To get dynod few days ago . But the shop couldn't do it so didn't schedule the Dinan appointment . I though stage 3 was with Dinan full exhaust only ? Or the exhaust type doesn't matter?

I just picked up a new 2012 650 White/vert last week from Momentum, red nappa leather, 20 inch wheels, etc. I got the Dinan Stg 2 instal done as well. Dealer gave me 15% approx discount to make the sale, so I got it for $3000... it is well worth it. Brings the car to life. The car blitzes from 0-80 real quick.. also seems like the shifts are faster. I am still testing the best way to drive the car.. but anyone wondering if the extra $3500 is worth... it is. My friend who had the previous m6 drove my car just last night and said it was much faster then with his M button. My advice to any new buyers is to roll the cost into the price, and get your deal to discount it to make the sale. I took delivery of the car before the tune, and dropped it off a few days after to load program, and get tint.. that’s why I can tell the noticeable difference. Dinan stage 2 is a must have.. if you own this vehicle and like to drive fast.

This is a huge bump in HP/TQ -how many of you are doing this upgrade AND have leased their 6? We are only leasing for 3 years and it's just hard to justify upgrading this vehicle at that cost.

While the gains may not be as high as Dinan claims at the wheel, there is still a huge difference. I am hoping to get Stage 2 on the 6er after I break in the engine.
