first time topless..

Well on the 8th day, the sun finally decided to shine, so here's a few snaps.

As each day goes by I'm liking Carbon Black more and more. It feels like a blue car that occasionally looks black, which I'm happy about, and it's very elegant, particularly with the ivory leather.

In my opinion the F12 doesn't look so nice with the top up but it looks so beautiful with the top down. Your car is gorgeous like RPB1 said!!

Thanks for the kind words. It must be very frustrating for you. I was torn between deep sea blue and black, so opted for the carbon black as a compromise. I saw a deep sea blue SE in the showroom and it looked amazing ( i have some pics if you're interested) I suspect it will look even better as an M Sport. I can't wait to see your pictures. It will be worth the wait.

Another sunny day to get that roof down - yes please on the deep sea blue pics would love to see them or pm me. You may have posted but what options did go for and are those 19" wheels?

Here are the DSB shots. It was a 640i SE at my local dealer. I was so close to ordering this exact spec as I think it looks sensational. The pictures are good, but in the flesh it was even better. But as my last 4 cars have been black, it was too big a step for me, so CB felt like the right move. Note the black shadow line trim, which looks great i think.

I've got the 650 coupe in the DSB as above with the same rims. Search this forum for pics. I get more complements than even my JB M3. It sparkles like a jewel.

Friday, an old dude in a new RR Ghost, drive past me real slow as he was turning left across me at a light, so he could get a better look. The guy is in a Rolls and he was clearly taken aback by my car. These cars are just plain beautiful. Enjoy.

I'm so happy we do not have to attach the front tag in Michigan.

Thanks for posting these pics this is the first time I've seen a vert in DSB - it looks great I'm so glad I chose DSB. It was either that or imola red. I have "camelion" type black the Jaguar Ultimate Black which colour shifts its a fantastic colour but want a move away from black this time. I've not seen an Msport in DSB yet if fact I've not seen a Msport vert at all on the road yet in the UK!

Great looking car. I was going to buy a DSB convertible with cinnamon brown interior and 20" rims but since I live in a very hot climate I changed my mind and got a Vermillion Red coupe.

Sorry forgot to say, yes the wheels are the standard 19" and although I was worried that I should have gone for the 20”, i think they look great and the ride is sublime. The only other option I went for was DAB which is a amazing, and nappa with contrast stitching.
