Looking like M Sport package for the 6 series coupe and convertible, the M Sport package for the 6 Series Gran Coupe will be available from launch. The package will include, as pictured, the M Sport aero kit (front bumper, rear diffuser/bumper, and sideskirts). Sorry if I missed this, but will x-drive be available on the 6er Gran Coupe?

love the whole package
I still don't see why BMW USA can't offer Alcantara as a special signature option since these are all built in Deutschland. I love how that interior looks with the Alcantara!
Stunning. Masterpiece. Last edited by heavystarch; 12-13-2011 at 03:38 PM.. Reason: grammar, spelling and failed to express my enthusiasm for the new 6 Series Gran Coupe M Sport |

Bummer that the Gran Coupe will only come with an automatic, though I guess we should be more amazed that a manual is even available anywhere on the 5 and 6 Series, especially these days. Still, I've heard that then new 8-speed auto is pretty impressive, though DCT would have been cool.
I too wish we were getting those seats -- I bet the reason we won't is some stupid safety crash test thing. That's why the 3 Series in the US can't be specified with Merino leather even through Individual despite that option being available elsewhere in the world. And WOW, those 0-60 times are amazing! 4.4 seconds for the 650i and 4.3 for the 650i xDrive -- that's quicker than an M3! The weird thing is that the smaller and lighter 650i Coupe is rated for 4.9, although it has lower hp/tq figures. I guess this "Technical Update" to the N63 is nothing to sneeze at. Not sure how popular the Frozen colors will be on the 6 Gran Coupe though....

Re
Jason, thanks for posting...for new 6 series including grand coupe have to say I don't feel it at all, very disappointed with the design of the car. I just have to say: Opel Insignia, this car came out few years ago.

I think this is one of the first BMWs I prefer without the M-Sport package...
