Hi,
I donīt know if you already seen it. But if you want you can configurate the whole car in the German configurator. Here is the link for colors and wheels: http://www.mercedes-benz.de/content/...paint_rims_tag Perhabs you can configurate it also in on the US-site, but I donīt know cause I canīt go on this site from Germany IP. greetings |

I ended up with a 200.000 euro car!!! That's a bit insane in my opinion, for that price i'll get a Ferrari FF if i could.

I'd be surprised if it was really that much. The current CL63 AMG starts around $150,000 and already comes nearly fully equipped. I'd imagine they'd want to keep pricing close to that, this being the replacement for that car and all.

For comparing:
BMW M6 Coupe starts at 124.000Euro and Mercedes S63AMG Coupe 4 Matic starts at 170.586,50Euro. Both cars in Germany. So a difference of approximately 45000Euro (60.000USD). |

in US M6 coupe starts at 111000$ so MB must be around 150000$ so the difference of about 40000$! is it worth? it depends. we have never driven the car. some people may pay this money for DD car. I know this is a huge money and there are lots of options like Lambo or Ferrari or even R8, but they are not DD cars... anyways I love the ride of M6 and with no doubt there is no other option with this money better than M6 (IMO)

I hear it'll be starting @ 145/150k, with options getting it close to 180ish....
It's not an exact science, but for a quick barometer, you can look at what current MB models are going for in Germany, and then compare those prices with the US Model. Example: CLS63 AMG S in Germany - Starting @ 131K Euro CLS63 AMG S in USA - Starting @ 107k USD ~~18.5% ratio S63 AMG S Coupe in Germany - Starting @ 171k Euro 171 x .815 = 140k USD So, an approximate starting price of 140k. Just an academic excercise though, as VAT, demand, conversion rates, standard options, and many other factors need to be considered. |

Plus the S63 would be slower than your M6 and the new v8 biturbo sound sucks this s63 really needs a v12 tbh if you sell your m6 for this its basically a downgrade in my opinion.. and it looks like every other new common merc on the road doesnt have the exclusiveness of the previous CL. |

First of all the E63 AMG 4 matic S model is much lighter than S63 AMG and is S model. even E 63 AMG 4 matic cannot beat M6. Second, the S63 AMG 4 matic is not S model. even if it's coming with S model it cannot beat the M6 since CLS 63 AMG S model cannot while is lighter than S63. to be honest with you, the drag race cannot be a reason to select this car IMO. I think if the drag race is an important criteria, then NISSAN GTR is the best candidate and is much cheaper |

E63 & CLS63 AMG's recent addition of AWD have propelled them to faster 1/4 mile times than M5&6 counterparts. That's a fact... Since the 1/4 mile is THE benchmark (not the only, but certainly the primary), I'm inclined to agree that the AMG's are 'faster'. The S63 will have very similar numbers to the e63/cls63 - I'll bet you a beer on it.... |

I'll have to test the new S63 coupe and decide whether I want it over m6 or not. Another cheaper solution for me would be to keep my m6 and just buy 2014 S550 as a second car, loved it!

Just read tonight that the S63 coupe in 4matic guise will do 0-62 in 3.9. RWD versions are 4.3
I assume these are mfg estimates.
Seems like most of our M6's are beating the mfg estimated figures and regularly posting sub 4's to 60 (assuming the surface is warm enough for our tires to get traction )
