Import from USA

I recently imported an f12 m6 from USA to EUROPE.

My question is , is it possible to code/convert everything to EU - from mp/h to km/h etc.

Are there any tutorials?

If you're just trying to change the units, those can be adjusted in the car settings without any coding required.

Settings --> Language/Units, and from there I think you can set kph/mph as well as C/F.

You'll need to do a region change NA to EU, you can't just install a map. Search for BMW region change and you'll find people who can do it remotely.

I was able to simply install an EU map on my F13 LCI, and it works flawlessly. Other than that the only other considerations other than changing the units in the system settings, are the headlights and taillights. If they don't have the E marking you may have to change them. At least that is the case in Deutschland.

Ditto the replies above there is a settings in iDrive under Language/Units to select language, distance, consumption, temperature, etc. The selection you see displayed that you can select…can change depending on how the car is optioned. For instance if it doesn’t have the TPM/RDC (tire pressure monitoring) system, you may not see PRESSURE as a selection since there is no tire inflation display with the FTM/RPA (flat Tyre monitor) system.

Unfortunately the M6 instrument cluster has two different clusters for KM/H or MPG…the M6 cluster has markings around the speedometer that are permanently on the face of the gauge. Unlike the 6WA & 6WB clusters that have digital data (both are blank when the engine is powered down)…the M6 clusters are not blank when powered down. You will need to get a KM/H M6 cluster if that’s what is required (see images below of the km/h and mpg M6 clusters below.
