No, your M6 does not have the same S63 engine iteration as the F90 M5. You have an earlier version of the S63 engine...the S63B44T1.

A technical update to the S63, known as the S63B44T1, debuted on the F10 M5 sedan. This version uses Valvetronic, a 10:1 compression ratio (compared with 9.3:1 for the non-TU version) and 1.5 bar of boost (compared with 1.3). It is the first BMW M engine to use Valvetronic. The rev limit was increased from 6800 rpm to 7200 rpm.

Applications:

2011–2017 F10 M5
2012–2018 F12/13 M6
2013–2018 F06 M6 Gran Coupe

The F90 M5 has the S63B44T4 engine. See the info below for the BMW models that have that version of the S63 engine:

The S63B44T4 debuted on the 2018 M5.

Applications:

2018–2023 F90 M5
2018–2023 F90 M5 Competition
2019–present F91/92/93 M8
2019–present F91/92 M8 Competition
2020–present F95 X5 M
2020–present F95 X5 M Competition
2020–present F96 X6 M
2020–present F96 X6 M Competition

See, that's what I couldn't find. What changed from the S63B44T1 to the S36B44T4? I know the injectors changed but seems like all years blow up lol

S63 is the original engine. If BMW updates the engine it will get a “T”. Then if there are additional updates to the same engine, or a slight change being used in another model…you will see T1, T2, T3, T4 etc. The “B44” simply reveals the engines cubic inches. Sometimes it’s used some times it’s left out and you just get the technical update iteration (again, T/T2/T3/T4 etc). .

You give no vehicle engine or time of production, so it’s impossible to explain why you were told S63T…but it would mean that you have the S63B44T engine if you’re referring to an M6.
