2014 M6 GC glittery oil-60k km/37k miles
hey im deciding on purchasing this 2014 M6GC. noticed gittery oil in oil filter housing. no chunks or anything that sticks to a magnet. engine sounds good and vehicle maintenance history also looks good. should i avoid this purchase or is this normal as some say on other S engines.
* I did clean out the oil filter housing and the gold/copper color seems to be stained in the housing itself, also filter looked free of any physical chunks |

If it is "silver and copper" it's your bearings going/gone out

Depending on the price you are getting I would suggest avoiding it. If the price and specs of the car supports doing bearings and possibly rod/pistons esp if you are going to play with power adders, then go for it.
