Never found them to be too useful when I had them on my 12 650 vert. I used to have them on MB and Lexus and they were much stronger than the one on the BMW. I don't have it on my M6 vert.

I have them on my M6 and love them. Although I do live in sunny Queensland Australia, so I do see some hot weather here.
Most days for me is shirt and tie, so jumping into a hot car with standard leather seats mean I have a sweating back within 5 mins. With the vented seats, I have no such problem. Love them With regards to things getting into the holes.... well I have my car professionally detailed each week, and I'm a car nut who never eats or drinks in my car, so that's not really a problem I have. My suggestion is that if you live in a warm to hot climate... go for it, you won't regret it Scar |

I like the ventilated seats in summer. The temperature of the air from the seat is the same to that coming from the vents, so it takes a few minutes to cool down. You don't feel cool air blowing on you or percieve seat as cool, but it keeps your back from feelinjg hot or sweating when the seat is very hot. I have no problems with dust.

I find them weak as well but very effective when it is really hot and I just got done working out or playing ball and I'm sweaty. I personally think the perforations in the seats look cool.
