The upcoming BMW 6-Series Coupe will come in a 640i flavor, featuring the turbocharged inline-6 series dubbed the N55. This configuration has so far not made it to the US on the Cabrio version, but
Autoblog.com has confirmed that the 640i will make it here in both Coupe and Cabrio versions when the coupe arrives this fall.
The N55 is a TwinPower turbo 3.0L inline-6 pumping out 316HP and 332ft-lb of torque in European spec.
In addition to the N55, Autoblog has also learnt that the AWD xDrive system will also become a new option, but only on the V8 650i.
