BMW has been ranked as the second most valuable car brand in the world, behind only Toyota, according to the
BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands study released today by market researcher Millward Brown.
BMW's brand value rose 2% to $26.8 billion from last year's study.
“BMW has tremendous brand experience about it and the actual drivability of its models remains incredible and attractive,” said Peter Walshe, Global BrandZ director at Millward Brown.
BMW ranked #33 overall when compared to brands among all industries.
