What this reminds me of is when the 2004 STI came out and Subaru gave away a day at the track and then idiot dealerships tried to deny all warranty claims because they'd been tracked.
Many years ago I was getting my M Coupe serviced and my advisor came out with a sheepish look on his face and said he had a question. I really didn't know what to expect, but he said there were seven or eight recorded hits against the speed governor. He visibly relaxed when I said they were all at the track. I think he was trying to figure out how to have me tailed by a cop.
