I have the same problem. Picked up the car brand new end of October last year at the dealership. Have now around 3500 miles and had to refill oil already 4 times. First time I had to refill it at about 1200 miles. The second time I went to the dealership, they had to fill up even 2 quarts until the oil level was at max again.
According to SA it's normal for a V8 engine to fill up oil every 800 miles and last time he even gave me two additional bottles to take home, so i won't have to go to them all the time. Even it's for free and I don't have to pay for it, it's really annoying to refill oil every 800 miles.
Not sure if that's really normal or if there is any problem with the engine/oil consumption.
