A m6 loaner , you will be lucky . I had a problem with my aircon for 3 months they kept saying it on back order . So I told them they can have the car back , as it was too long to wait . I was traveling to Europe for a road trip and to the ring /salvo then monoco, in 31 degrees !.
I asked for a M6 to use , they offered me an insignia ! . 1 week before the road trip , I contacted BMW uk and a unit from an other car was taken out and mine replaced.
I think it depends on the franchise you use , my dealership customer service is pretty poor . They have tried , but I think my expectations are a little high on a 70k car !.
