History
• 1982: Sent to Alpina for rims shocks, suspension, steering wheel etc.
• 1986: Imported into USA as a grey market car. Received DOT certification and an EPA waiver for emissions.
• 1998: Cartech turbo and intercooler was added along with fuel pressure regulator to increase PSI to 45 PSI. Also cold start 7th injector was wired to add more fuel with the throttle switch sensor.
• 1993: Metric Mechanic cylinder head was installed with surface turbulence.
• 1995: Metric Mechanic 343 rear end limited slip was added with 60% lock and extra lock plates
• 2006: Complete suspension rebuild with poly bushings and new Bilstein shocks. Alternator was rebuilt and every hose and wire was replaced.
• 2011: New radiator triple core and new drive shaft were added by Beyer Motor Works in Arizona. Car was completely gone through and anything that needed to be fixed was replaced.
This car has been in the family 30 plus years and has never been in a wreck and has original sheet metal etc. The car is still rust free and has always been garaged and covered.
Maintenance History
• Always used Mobil 1 Synthetic oil
• Red Line synthetic used for transmission and rear end
• Coolant was changed every 4 years
• Brake fluid changed every 3 years
