There is a good market for used RF tires. You may be surprised to find how much you can get for them if they are only few months old. People returning cars from lease love them.
AS far as mixing tires it comes down to what you will do with the car. If you enjoy taking the car to the limit every now and then or if you enjoy an occasional bonzai run don't do it. If you just cruise in your car and have better things to do then save your time and money and just throw some Hankooks (or whatever you prefer) out back.
