Can someone explain this to me? Why softtop? 335 has a hard top? Is the only feasible argument the weight savings? And in that case, anyone who is buying a convert vs coupe already doesn't care about the weight?

Based on the 6 series discussion by BMW - the hardtop's lines arent as sexy as the soft top -- BMW says in the future they may take the 3 series vert back to a soft top because its not 'sexy' enough.
