The latest shipping blocks are the BLUE ones as above...not visible like the older style yellow fingers. If you see Blue..they need to come out..they are causing the ride quality problem. Believe me, I had the problem for 800 miles before the dealer admitted to forgetting to take the blue shipping blocks from my 2013 650i xDrive Gran Coupe...the ride was 100% better after removing the blue blocks. It seems to be a wider spread problem with many dealers not being trained on what to look for and how to remove them at PDI.
