Yea, I totally agree -from a performance standpoint, the shifts bang off with precision. But what drives me nuts (literally?
) when driving the DCT is that the computer is letting out the clutch for me on take-off. So there is that lag between pressing the gas and then the trans saying "ohhh, you are ready to go? ok then". I think it might depend on the type of driving one does. For my stop and go here in the Chicago area, test driving the S6 as well as the M3 both made me wish for a manual or the 8 speed auto.
