Do you think a Megan race exhaust that I've seen on here for ~$500 be better? I think I would consider that if there is no drone inside (that's what I am worried about most), and I would powder coat is gloss black since it only comes in SS. Would it throw any error codes on the dash?

It wont throw any codes, you and someone else have been asking about it on this site. You will have to just plug the vacuum lines that would go into the flapper valves. It's called a golf-tee mod if you look it up on google. I'm sure it will have some drone but a lot less than my muffler delete.
