I had a windshield replaced in my 2017 650i convertible last year. $1200 and covered in full by insurance. Insurance company didn't want to put in OEM glass because the car was more than 2 years old and had more than 30K miles. I fought it once i found out OEM glass was only $400 more and they put it in.
