the M-company can only build M-Cars based on the regular BMW models.

modern cars must have safety featurs AND comfort features that "old M-cars" didnt have. So BMW engineers dont suck its just the EU laws that make cars weight more and more...

Exactly, and unfortunately the 5 and 6 series are already too heavy to begin with.

But the F30's weight is more reasonable and combined with the rumored significant weight reductions, should hopefully lead to a great driving experience and handling for F80 M3 and F82 M4.
