It's a well known fact that all M cars are wider than their standard equivalents with a wider body to accommodate the wider track width front and back. Audi RS are the same as are proper AMG cars at Mercedes.
Your options are to roll your wheel arches or ditch the wheels. You can disguise the issue by running narrower tyres which will give a stretched look but you cannot reduce how much the wheel rim protrudes from the body of the car.
No offense, but I'm amazed that you went through with shelling out for genuine M6 GC wheels without having checked on this. As I said earlier it's no secret that the dimensions are different and I'm not sure why you would think that an M car would have a narrower track than a standard model. That makes absolutely no sense.
