I called the 800 number with our vehicle production number, and I learned that our vehicle is "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date." I assume that could be status code 112 and that we at least made it to the first round of production, even though the production week ordinarily is assigned at status code 87. I have read of other people with status code 112 with no confirmed production date for non-Alpina cars, so perhaps that is the correct status code. I guess a call to the dealer is in order.
I've seen some of the photos of Tanzanite Blue cars posted by other members here. It sure looks intriguing. If all goes well, we will get to see a TB 650i this weekend at a SF area dealership. Supposedly there are at least two in the area.
