If that were true why has there been M3 and M5 wagons in Europe? You're already producing them, just make it available to whomever wants one stateside. I think BMW would be surprised. |
Yup and Merc and Audi sell them quite nicely. There is definitely a market. An I'd say it's got to be cheaper to develop an M tourer than a ground up niche product like the Z series which has a very small market.
I think it's just that the SUV sells well and BMW can't be arsed for the smaller number of people who might then not buy the SUV.
