In my own experience (F12 650i & F10 M5) they are so different that they complements each other. The sumptuous M5 interior with full Merino leather and all the M amenities are difficult to compensate with the user friendly transmission of the six series in daily cruising. Please if you have to select one, must be the M6 with the full leather option. In my opinion the F13 BMW is the best solved design in the auto industry so the top of the line should be your choice.
