kudos to bmw for delivering a car that performs that well given that it DOES weigh 200 kg more. Lap times are meaningless for convertibles, anyway.

Can't agree more. If there's one thing about the "new" BMW is that despite their weight, they can still manufacturer something with impressive numbers. Considering and taking what the M6 really is, it does a very good job especially against a lighter roadster.
