Absolutely, yes. As a matter of fact, I think a properly setup 2013 5.0 will beat the m6 around the track with less than $2k into it. Methinks that people are still stuck in the old "straightline only" way of thinking. I'm not a brand whore, nor do I care about the country of origin of the vehicle.
The 2009 5.0 outdid the m3 in a lot of tracks, I've seen it with my own eyes several times (driver error not taken into account). The 2013 5.0 will spank it.
The m6 is a luxury vehicle with some oomph. The previous M6 was a performance disappointment in every way, no reason to think the new one won't be a pig as well. I do realize the new tt engines have a lot of potential, and we all know BMW builds bulletproof engines.
