Even if it does, the only thing can be voided is the warranty on the suspension components.
But after almost 30 years of experience in lowering cars, I never heard that a suspension components got damaged by 1" lowering. Only unsafe and improper lowering (cut spring or heat spring) will put you and your car at risk.

Another thing, I can post pictures of my car on here so you can see the issue. I have the M5 wheels on my car and the tires stick out a little, very unnoticable but, I notice it. Will the 1" lowering cause rubbing?

Are you on the original M5 tire size? 295/30-20 on the rear?
I tried M5 wheels and tires set also and I don't like the way it stick out in the rear.
I believe it is mainly on the tire. If you change to 285/30-20, you will not rub with 1" drop.
Here is a picture of my car on KW coilover.
From this picture, I have raised the front another 1/4".
