Here in Germany the model years work a little bit different. It's not related to the next year like in the US but rather to the actual year when the car is released.
So this is released next year, therefore it is a 2015 6-series.
As for example the current M3/M4 are 2014 models.
In the US they will surely be refered to as 2016 models.
Back to the car: It looks absolutely stunning! The 6-series is by far my most favourite BMW and if I had just one goal in life it would be owning one of those. Only subtle little changes, but they make an already awesome car even more awesome.
