Nice catch. Yes, 35 on the rear window and 55 on the sides. Front is clear. I have a black interior and didn't want to go too dark (ie. limo or even close to it).
Like anything on our cars, it all comes down to personal preference, but I look at tint as primarily functional (UV, IR, and heat rejection) and secondarily as an accent piece. Modern clear tints will address the former, so aesthetics is independent of function.

I'm not a fan for a number of reasons; personality, safety (seeing peds at night), and attracting undue LE attention being among them.
