Not really, 10-60 is a no go, only nor non-aspirated M engines, the Gold replaces the silver, though they still sell the silver. I believe the Gold oil may be better for extreme cold starts.

Fully aware of the 10W-60 (as per the circa 250 Litres I bought for my oil burning E39 M5).
Gold replaces Silver that's good !
