Well I think the stock steering in the X5/X6 is just crazy (strangely enough the X6 feels lighter than the two handed X5 steering). Therefore I went with Active Steering on mine and love it. It is much easier to turn at parking lot speeds but firms up really nice at speed. I'm almost tempted to go with a 650GC RWD with active steering -but each and every day of this miserable Chicago winter, I'm reminded of why I need AWD or should consider moving.
