I'm with you on the sunroof opening the interior.
I honestly don't care too much either way for it to heavily sway my decision. That being said, the inside with the sunroof open does feel a lot roomier than with it closed. Closed, the car feels sportier and more focused. Open, it feels lighter and roomier.
For a GT car (6er coupe/GC), the ability to go between focused sports car and luxo cruiser is nice.
The M6 coupe and GC are supposed to be the track thrashing monsters, so it makes sense that they use the CFRP to lower the center of gravity while also creating a more focused interior environment.
