The tweeter uses something called an "acoustic lens". It disperses high frequencies over a very wide horizontal angle. The motorized part is kind of a gadget, but something B&O uses in many of its products. I disagree with many here saying that the B&O system isn't a good one. In fact it sounds excellent. Listen to a pair of Beolab 5's at a B&O store. They're based on the same technology, including the Ice Power Class D amps. They sound incredibly good.
