I thought I had read somewhere that we need 3" so I may just need to go with chrome tips which I have found. See below.

A better option may be just to have the muffler shop weld on a 3" inlet 'Y' pipe on each side and buy 4 tips of your choice, 2.5" inlet>4" outlet. That way, you can stagger them the way you think looks best with your diffuser line and in the future, if you get bored of the burnt tips, you can go CF.
