NP, you can also try windshield crack repair kit, basically UV cure rasins, for anything less than 1/4" inch. I paid $8 at local auto store. For 1/2", I think it might work too. I used that to repair my mini cooper windshields a few times b/c of its vertical windshield design. Repairs were almost invisible, and they were good until I sold both cars.

I have applied the super glue. Certainly not a professional job but hopefully it will hold for the time being. Thanks again for the advice.
