Totally agree. I've read new cars should be broken in with dino oil for the first 500 miles and to be driven HARD to seat the rings properly. Syn. oil is so slippery it doesn't allow the rings to seat correctly and causes the cyl. walls to glaze. Next oil change will be with Amsoil 5-40. I have had good experience with Amsoil and 5-40 being a little heavier may slow down the oil consumption and improve perf.
